On Friday 13 July 2018, tens of thousands of protestors marched in central London ahead of Donald Trump’s first official visit to the United Kingdom.
A number of political groups, trade unions, NGOs and community groups joined two marches – one led by Women’s March London and another by the Stop Trump Coalition – that converged to meet at Trafalgar Square for a National Rally.
A spokesperson for the Stop Trump Coalition commented that the demonstration would not just be a movement against the President’s visit but would become a movement against racism, anti-migrant bigotry, sexism, transphobia and far right politics in the UK.
