The idea of the rural community struggling with post-industrialisation, globalisation, or austerity might be misplaced in some villages. For, in these desirable locations, what was once a close localised population has become a collection of wealthy colonists that eschew the participatory requirements that society necessitates.
This community might represent the last stand; once a year the people will come together to play out a day of rural traditions, acting out the rituals that represent an idyllic scene.
